House of Roux opened in May of 2021 by Abbey Hebert and Cody Nicholson in Old Town Spring Texas, a historical town known for its locally owned shops and restaurants, as well as its haunted past.
Chef and Owner, Abbey Hebert was born and raised in the heart of Cajun country, Iota Louisiana. She grew up in a commercial kitchen on Bayou des Canes where she developed a deep passion for cooking. After teaming up with Texas native Cody Nicholson, the duo had a brilliant plan to bring their passions together, creating House of Roux. You can find them in the quaint Old Town Spring eatery almost every day of the week cooking, developing and enjoying the community they have come to love over the last year.
House of Roux offers a variety of daily plate lunches that changes from week to week, as well as regular menu items.
